"To change the world, give what you love" ... Ken Rabow
Everyone deserves mentoring.
At WorldWide Youth Mentoring Inc., we believe that every young person deserves a chance to be mentored.
With that in mind, we have created the Ken & Helena Rabow Mentoring Scholarship
Every mentor who works a minimum of 10 hours per week mentoring may choose someone from their community deserving of a six month, twice a week free scholarship to learn life skills to be successful. These include: Job skills, Study skills (where needed), Conflict resolution skills, Communication skills, Dealing with mental health issues such as depression and anxiety and how to mentor others in their community.
These KHRMS recipients will have to prove that they are working in their community to “pay” for the scholarships by contributing in some tangible way.
We are seeking to offer this to inner city and aboriginal young adults ages 18 to 23.
WWYM will pay the mentors their regular payment for this work as part of the KHRMS fund. We know that our mentoring changes lives. We believe more people should be able to benefit from this.
To change the world, give what you love. We love Mentoring.
